Ex-Perpetual chief takes Entireti chair

Entireti has named former Perpetual chief executive Geoff Lloyd as its new board chair. He replaces Ray Miles, who has held the role since 2009.
Lloyd will assume the position after serving as a strategic consultant to Entireti over the past year. His work focused on governance, planning, and operational improvements. Miles will remain on the board as a non-executive director.
Lloyd’s career spans financial services and philanthropy
Before joining Entireti, Lloyd led Perpetual as CEO from 2012 to 2018 and MLC from 2018 to 2020. His current roles include chairing fintech platforms Stake and DASH, leading The Fathering Project, and serving as a non-executive director of Team Australia Challenge.

Entireti owns subsidiaries including Akumin, Fortnum Private Wealth, and Personal Financial Services. The company has grown through mergers and acquisitions and is now entering the next phase of growth.
Leadership transition marks a new growth phase
Entireti Group CEO Neil Younger stated Lloyd’s appointment arrives as the company shifts toward productivity and digital transformation. The advice group has completed significant M&A transactions in recent years.
“Geoff brings extensive experience to the Entireti board, and his insights are invaluable,” Younger said. “A key goal for us is to drive the productivity dividend inside advice practices and the board plays an important role in assisting us to execute our strategy and realise our ambitions.”
Younger noted a key focus for Entireti is to broaden its services and capabilities and deploy artificial intelligence to build a digital ecosystem platform for advice businesses.

Lloyd expressed admiration for Entireti’s leadership. “I’ve observed the evolution of Entireti with the greatest admiration for Neil and his leadership team, and I’m inspired by their commitment to pursuing business improvements and stepped change for advisers and the broader profession,” he said. “Entireti has grown significantly, both organically and through M&A, and I’m excited to go on this growth journey together and support the business to solve the biggest problems facing advice businesses and deliver quality advice to more Australians.”
Younger also praised Miles for shaping Entireti’s trajectory over the past 17 years. “Ray is arguably the strongest proponent of professional advice and the need to build strong advice businesses that this sector has known, and his stewardship has been critical in getting Entireti to where it is today,” Younger said. “We thank him for his counsel and support for the business and the broader sector, and we feel fortunate that he will remain on the board and continue to play an ongoing role in the growth and success of Entireti.”
Lloyd’s start date as chair remains undisclosed. The transition is expected to proceed smoothly due to his existing advisory role.
