Australian Wealth Management Awards 2026 Winners Announced

The Australian Wealth Management Awards announced their 2026 winners on Thursday night at the Shangri‑La Sydney, highlighting a range of achievements across the sector.
Top honours go to wealth advisers and firms
Wick Financial secured the Wealth Management Business of the Year title, while Kara Treeby of Ageing with Grace Advisory was named Wealth Management Professional of the Year. The ceremony also recognized advisers in specific niches: Alex Hont of Moran Partners Financial Planning earned Adviser of the Year – Estate Planning, and Samuel Fenning of Esencia Wealth took Adviser of the Year – High Net Worth.
Other individual awards included Luke Mase from Inovayt for Personal Advice, Steven Roberts of Oakmont Financial Group for Risk, Jose Pais of Legacy Planning for SMSF, and Kieran Menzie of Financial Foundations Australia for Superannuation.
Executive and innovation awards
Executives were honoured in several categories. Eugene Ardino of Lifespan Financial Planning received Executive of the Year – Dealer Group, and Andrea Boss of AMP was named Executive of the Year – Digital Advice. James Millard of Sufficient Funds and Alex Donald of Ironbark Financial Group took the executive honours for Financial Advice and Funds Management respectively.
Innovation awards highlighted emerging solutions. Trend Capital Group won Innovator of the Year – Dealer Group, while Otivo was recognised for Digital Advice. Wick Financial, already a Business of the Year winner, also captured Innovator of the Year – Financial Advice. Other innovators included Pengana Capital Group for Funds Management, iExtend for Insurance, Stockspot for SMSF, and AMP for Superannuation.
Specialist fund manager awards were presented to JellyC for Crypto, Orbis Investments for Equities, Pengana Capital Group again for Fixed Income, Qualitas for Private Credit, BFA Global Investors for Private Equity, and MaxCap for Property.
These results illustrate the sector’s breadth, from traditional wealth planning to niche fund management.

Compared with prior ceremonies, the 2026 lineup shows a growing emphasis on technology‑driven advice and specialist asset classes, reflecting broader industry shifts toward digital platforms and alternative investments.
